I WANT TO LIVE IN THE WELLCOME COLLECTION

The last few days have been a wonderful, inspirational blur.
I really like going to museums, and I had some free time, so
lets just say I went to more than a few museums.

And I don't just rush through to say I went, I'm usually the
straggler that has to get kicked out because the museum
closed 25 minutes ago.

I want to try to post the inspiration from everything so I remember it all,
but I have seen so much, so it might take a little bit of time, and a lot of posts.

So frustrating when you see something awesome only to find out it is just "concept" jewelry not actually for sale!

Martin Chalfie, Roger Tsien, and Osamu Shimomura discovered how to use GFP (which is responsible for luminosity in a jellyfish)
in tagging biological systems to aid research. Can't even begin to fully explain it, but it's amazing.

This one definitely isn't for art's sake, but it still looks awesome,
and it got a em a nobel prize!!!...

Random fact.

This is my favorite pen.



It finally occurred to me that I should make some kind of reminder for myself of what kind it is.
I would be temporarily traumatized if I lost it again and could not remember the name.
The only place I know of that sells it is kinokuniya in ny... or japan...
