I just love the aesthetic of blueprints.

___

reminder.

I saw this photo on a blog, and was instantly reminded I need to stop being lazy and go to Tribeca's Tokyo Bar.
It's been a year and a half since I first posted about it, but never got around to going.
I NEED to bask in the glory of design that is Kashiwa Sato. Now!!!

yay happy pastels. yay rainbows. yay hot air balloons... wait what?

student debt? hundreds of billions of dollars? I thought we were having fun here?!!

While aesthetically-speaking I really enjoy this graphic, I believe an important part of effective information design is that it uses an appropriate visual language for the information it is communicating. Somehow I'm not convinced this is quite accomplishing that.

First signature as President

Pretty decent, calligraphically-speaking.

Interesting to look at all of the past President's signatures.

I am dying of happiness.

Someone made my all-time-favorite youtube video into a gif...

p.s. here is the video AGAIN because it can NEVER be watched or posted too many times...

Totally loving her Gotham Light type specimen book.

Completely unrelated to the fact that gotham is my favorite typeface.
...well, maybe a little related.
