rambling

I went vintage shopping this weekend in the lower east side (nyc).
and was on the hunt for a fur coat, and I found an awesome one...
It’s short and looks just like this only brown wild rabbit fur.

I bought it at No Relation on 1st ave between 12th & 13th street.
They have SO much awesome stuff there, highly recommend checking it out!

No Relation Vintage

But still, even though there are so many great vintage shops in nyc,
none seem to measure up to Beyond Retro in London
(brick lane location, not carnaby st).

Beyond Retro

Most of their clothes are sourced from the States so why cant they open one here!
PLEASE!
I miss Beyond Retro!!!

Jamie Hearn

is a 2nd year Graphic Design student currently studying at Central Saint Martins.
I went to school with him during my semester abroad there, but never checked out his portfolio until just now.
He has some pretty great work!

This one needs to win,

because it looks the coolest.
And it will give me extra motivation to go back to the London this fall.

This design is by IN & EDIT Architecture, and is one of the entries shortlisted to be constructed for exhibition at Tent London during the London Design Festival.

Chris Clarke

you might know him from his type cube that seemed to be on every design blog ever a while back...

I am not really a big fan of it.
BUT I really love the layout of these 2 projects...

and

(I also have a feeling his colour choice also had something to do with me liking these so much.)
