I saw this movie last November while I was in London, but it didn't open until just recently here in the states.

The film is based on a true story and deals with the last 6 weeks of the life of Bobby Sands, the leader of the 1981 Irish republican hunger strike.

It is an extremely intense and moving film with beautiful cinematography! I would highly recommend seeing it, if you like serious movies.
