Everything is not ok.
I saw this earlier and thought it was completely stupid,
but then when I saw that it currently has the top spot in the people's design awards,
I was more than a little annoyed.
If everything was ok, there would be no need for putting up tape.
The fundamental purpose of caution tape is to tell you that everything is NOT ok within that area.
It is almost disrespectful, someone could have been seriously hurt or died there,
and you are trying to tell people "everything is ok" so they feel better about themselves?
You don't need to freak people out and put up tape saying someone died just to make them deliberately feel crappy,
but telling them everything is just wonderful seems equally counterproductive.
If everything is so ok, why the hell can't I go past this tape?!!!

Color IQ
Organize these colors...
to find out your color IQ.
Because we all know that is the most important thing. ever.
I got a 4. I think that is decent?
I also have a major sinus headache.
Whatever, I think Janet Fintz would still be proud.
(the um, teacher that taught me color theory)
The part that really interests me though is that this^ says that my color differentiation level is lower in the blue-green range.
Which is actually my favorite color, so I wonder if that has any psychological relevance.
need to research.

Hellovon Migration
I saw the first half of this installation the other day on Brick Lane.
I thought it was so beautiful!
At the time I didn't know if it was for purely art purposes, or commissioned by the pub it was in front of,
but I didn't take a photo because there were tons of people eating in front of it...
Turns out there is a second part he recently installed in Williamsburg!
All my friends back in ny should go see it. It is so lovely!

Stocking up on random insp.
I am sick, and have spent the last 48+ hours in the solitary confinement of my bedroom.
aka, why I am posting so much instead of exploring this awesome city I've come to.
__
the aesthetics of fish workers
__
Will Sanders
__
Matt Irwin
__
Steven Klein
__
Charles Anastase
__
I want to be something like this for halloween...
__
At times I honestly have to stop myself and imagine things in a different colour so I can be sure it's not just because I like turquoise so much.
