I am like super super late on the uptake, but I just found out
that Miranda July and Mike Mills are dating, and have been since
Mid 2005 (hopefully they still are).



I think they are the most perfect couple I have ever heard of.

Mike Mills (artist and film director [thumbsucker])was featured
in the movie Beautiful Losers that I saw a screening of last
night and he is just so awkwardly adorable, and Miranda July
(performance artist, musician, writer, actress and film director,
[Me and You and Everyone We Know]) is just awkwardly
awesome as well.

I also bought 2 canvases today. I haven't bought a canvas for my own
enjoyment (meaning outside of a school requirement) in 3 years.
I think I forget how to paint.

Also, as mentioned, I saw a screening of the documentary
Beautiful Losers last night.

Aaron Rose, the director was there to talk about it.
It was pretty decent, and fun to see (on film) the people behind
a lot of artwork that is pretty big these days. It comes out in
limited theaters this summer. I'd recommend seeing it.

Because I don't have ffffound... :'(

Idea I should sell to an ad firm...

Put something associated with a chosen brand on some sort of awkwardly
shaped object inside of a big clear box, then pay people to walk around
on the streets and ride the subway with it.

Seriously I went home tonight with a chandelier in a big clear box and
everyone was starring at it the whole time on the subway and someone on
the street almost walked into the side of a phone booth trying to
figure out what I was carrying. hah

Not even kidding,

I seriously need this!

Also, I think maybe this summer I will make a set of pillows for my bed since I dont have any to go with my newish duvet.

First one will say this (it's a British WWII poster)...


The second one will say "assume nothing" in the typographic style of the tattoo
I designed for my type class last year (can't find a photo at the moment)
